The Authenticity

Living up-to the authentic Chettinad cuisine culture, our spices our freshly ground, based on day to day requirements.
Both, our veg and non-veg essentials are freshly procured on a daily basis.
Keeping your health and well-being in mind, we only use freshly ground sesame oil and ground-nut oil.
While we are essentially a Chettinad restaurant, we serve the finest of the other cuisines as well.

The The Team

Our passionate and well trained chefs have a collective experience of more than 35 years.
Since we're not interested in being the jack of all trades/ cuisines, we brought in an international team of chefs, each specializing in their own cuisine. For example :
Our Tandoor, Indian and Mughalai chefs are from Kabul, settled in India.
Our Chinese chefs are from China, settled in China town, Calcutta.
The best part is, all our chef's love taking selfies with their customers, so feel free to ask for one !

The Biryani Factor

Saving the best for the last, our biryani stands out as the star of the show ! Using the finest rice, cashew nuts, almond paste and other mouth-watering ingredients, we're proud to serve a variety of biryanis that will leave you spoilt for choice.

The world-famous cuisine that comes with a rich and historic heritage

Among the many aspects of Chettinad, the most famous ambassador of this unique region in Tamil Nadu is its delicious cuisine. Known for its culinary delicacies, the local cooking is one of the many reasons why people visit this region. The Chettinad cuisine is famous for its use of a variety of freshly ground spices used in preparing mainly non-vegetarian food. They also use a variety of sun-dried meats and salted vegetables, reflecting the dry environment of the region.

Almost no restaurant in India serving non vegetarian food would miss out on having 'Chicken Chettinad' on its menu. It is synonymous with spicy fare even to the Indian palate, so don't forget to leave some room for desserts :)
